Serious Youth Crime

Our knife crime campaign has been the biggest we’ve run and understandably so.

We have been working alongside communities,  Police, councils and local groups across West Yorkshire to make an impact on knife crime.

The information sessions have had a huge impact with schools constantly asking for us to return to deliver to more year groups.

Our Director, Phil Pearce, is extremely passionate about Spoken Word and believes it’s a brilliant tool to use.

It has become a real passion of his and he always uses it as part of any campaign. He is heavily involved in his local community and is always pushing poetry out to larger audiences. Although he is only in his third year of performing, Phil has performed in 22 cities and even has a video with over 25 thousand views. He regularly runs workshops in recovery buildings, prisons and schools

We have delivered sessions for West Yorkshire Police to targeted groups on numerous occasions and we are regularly asked to co-produce work with them.

We are working with the Youth Parliament on their knife crime campaign this year and expanding our work across West Yorkshire.

We have been heavily involved in the Leeds Lives Not Knives campaign and helped deliver to 3000 young people in West Leeds.

The Knife crime work has landed us regular spots on radio stations and news headlines about the positive and effective work we are doing.
